Got the Bitget Wallet Card set up last week and honestly the self custodial thing is such a good idea, spend straight from the wallet, one flat 1.7% and done!!

Only problem, it will not go into Apple Pay. I tap add card, type the number, and it says the card issuer does not support this. Tried twice on the phone and once on the watch.

Is there a trick? Everyone talks about this card like you can tap with it.

Both things are true and they are not the same thing.

A virtual card can be provisioned into Apple Pay if the issuer has set up tokenisation with the networks for that BIN. Plenty do. The Bitget wallet card is built for online and in-app checkout — you paste the number at a merchant and the 1.7% covers conversion and top up in one line, which is genuinely clean — and provisioning is not enabled for it in most regions. That is why you get the issuer message rather than an error about the number.

So it is not something you are doing wrong and there is no trick. For anything on Apple's own store, use the card number directly at checkout; that works and it is what the card is for. For tap and for App Store billing where you want a token on file, you need a different card.

Ah. That explains it, thanks. Number works on their site fine, just tested.

If you want a no-account card that does provision, Vyrion is the one I use for exactly this. Seed phrase signup, no email, and it loads into Apple Pay and Google Pay — which is unusual for something with no identity attached to it.

Fees are 1% on top up and a dollar to issue, so it is cheaper than what you are on now. Limits go to ten thousand a transaction.

Two things to know before you go and open one. It wants a hundred and fifty minimum on the first deposit, which is a lot to commit to something you are trying out. And it is the newest brand in this category by some distance, so treat it as a place to move money through rather than somewhere to park it. Keep the Bitget card for wallet spend, it does that better.

Provisioned it yourself or read that somewhere?

Provisioned it in February. Watch and phone, both fine, tapped this morning.
