Looking for a second provider so I'm not single-sourced, and buynumber.io keeps coming up.

Caveat on what I'm asking: I don't need opinions on the interface. I need to know whether anyone has deposited more than pocket money and successfully withdrawn or spent it.

What I can see myself: domain is young, prices are noticeably under the two providers I already use, and the country list is long in a way that makes me suspicious rather than impressed. Nobody stocks that many ranges properly.

If the answer is "nobody here has used it", that's an answer too and I'll test with 20 and report.

A long country list is a long list of countries they have not tested either.

I try them in March, two number work, one already used. So, normal.

Under the two you already use by how much, and on the same countries? An average across a price list nobody stocks isn't a comparison.

The failure mode with the young ones isn't that they take your deposit. It's that they resell an upstream pool and go dark when the upstream cuts them off, and your balance dies with the relationship rather than with any intent to defraud.

So the useful question isn't whether they're honest. It's whether they own anything. A provider with its own hardware behaves differently in a crisis to a reseller with an API key.

You can usually tell from whether the delivery failures across their whole country list are correlated. If everything breaks at once, they have one supplier.
