crypton.sh — anyone still renewing, or has everyone moved on?

Two long-rental numbers with them since last summer, both still receiving.

Renewal came up and I realised I've never seen anyone here mention them once. So either it's quietly fine or I'm the last person on it. Which is it?

My friend, actually i use them one year already. Is more expensive than the cheap sites but the number is the same number after six month, and that is the thing i pay for. The cheap ones give you a number for four minutes and then somebody else have it.

Long rental and encrypted storage are two separate claims. The first you can verify. The second you take on trust.

If that number is the recovery factor on anything that matters, the operator is a single point of failure no matter how the messages are stored. Your threat model decides whether that's tolerable. Mine says no.

Still working is a low bar. Still yours in March is the bar.

Renewed both. Nothing important is going behind them.
