Separate concern from the money, and it will outlive the money.

That network held your payout details, your traffic sources, your creative library and fourteen months of your conversion data. Whoever ends up with that database - the operator, a buyer, a scraper who found the backup exposed after they stopped paying the hosting bill - now holds a map of your operation.

Rotate anything that was reused. Assume the payout address is now associated with your alias permanently, because it is. If you gave them a real name for a wire, that name is now sitting in a dump somewhere with your vertical next to it.

Your threat model changed on Monday and the nine grand is the smaller half of it.

Thank you. Three days late, but thank you.

I pulled out of them in October and I should have said something at the time, so this is partly my fault too.

What I saw: 1) the October payment was late for me as well and the explanation I got was a "banking partner migration", which is a phrase I have now heard from three networks and all three are gone. 2) two offers I ran with them went from daily caps to weekly caps with no announcement, which is what you do when you can't fund the payouts. 3) my manager changed twice in six weeks.

I dropped them because of 2, not because I worked anything out. I did not post about it because I did not want to be the person who starts a run on a network over a cap change.

I think that instinct is wrong and I am going to stop having it. The cost of being wrong in public is an argument. The cost of being right in private is this thread.

That instinct is why every one of these goes the same way and it isn't really your fault, it's structural.

The people with the earliest information are the ones with the most to lose by sharing it. If you're owed forty grand and you think there's a 30% chance they're fine, you shut up, because posting turns a 30% chance of survival into a 0% chance and you're the one holding the bag either way. So the warning always arrives from someone small, after it's too late, which is exactly what happened here.

Same in 2016, same in 2019, same last year with the one whose name I'm not going to type because they threatened three people over it.

Their domain went into redemption yesterday, which is the actual death certificate if anyone was still hoping.

Registrar records went private in September, which is worth noting for the timeline - that's four months before the dashboard went dark and about a month before the late October payment. Depends what you read into it. I'd read something into it.

If they were on a registrar with a decent abuse process there'd be a chance of getting the WHOIS through a claim. They weren't. That's not an accident either.

Privacy on the WHOIS four months before the privacy on the payouts.

advertiser update. wrote to the two brands i could identify, like grubstake88 said, short and not as a creditor

one never replied. the other replied in a week, were actually really decent about it, said they'd paid Tellurade in full for november and had no obligation to me which i knew. offered to onboard me direct at a payout about 15% under what i was getting

no money back but i've got an offer running with them now. so from 9.4k i've recovered a business relationship and zero dollars

That's a better outcome than most people in this thread's position get - the direct relationship is worth more than the 9.4 over two years if you keep it clean. Are you holding your own conversion logs against theirs this time?

Merged two later threads about the same network into this one. Anything new goes here.

Late to this. A client of mine was carrying a considerably larger balance with the same network and has had nothing, four months on.

One detail that may be useful to the thread rather than to me: the entity that received the wires was not the entity named in the terms. Different name, different country. If anyone here still has a bank record of an outgoing or incoming from them, the name on it is worth checking against what the site said.

That is all I can say about it.

That detail is the whole thing and it means nobody in this thread was ever going to be paid.

When the paying entity and the contracting entity are different companies in different jurisdictions, that is not sloppiness. That is the structure working as designed. The contracting entity has your agreement and no assets; the paying entity has the banking and no agreement with you. You cannot sue the one that has money and you cannot collect from the one you can sue.

I've seen exactly this three times and I'll see it again. It's the single check worth doing before you extend a network any credit at all: send them a small payment or take one, look at the name that comes up, and compare it to the terms page. Two minutes, once, at the start.
