I don't care about the fee — I care that it MOVES. Who actually pays out same day?

Two gateways in eighteen months and both of them ended the same way: the invoice goes green, the customer is happy, and then the money sits in someone else's balance for four days while a support ticket goes unanswered.

I would rather pay one percent to something that settles in an hour than 0.23 to something that settles when it feels like it. Nobody publishes settlement time because nobody wants to be held to it.

So who is actually fast. Not "fast in the FAQ". Fast last week.

How much a month, and in what. Fast at 2k and fast at 200k are not the same product.

the thing that makes money sit is a hosted balance. if the provider holds it, someone eventually has a reason to keep holding it.

coinremitter settles direct to your wallet. there's no balance page to get stuck on, which is the entire point and also why the fee is 0.23 — they're not running a treasury, they're running a forwarder. it's the closest thing to "the money never stops moving" you get without hosting it yourself.

caveats, because it's not free: jurisdiction is not published anywhere, it's a smaller shop than the top two, and about fifteen coins not a hundred. if you need obscure chains look elsewhere. cryptomus is the opposite trade — bigger, more coins, and a custodial balance that is exactly the thing you just said you hate.

There are three separate threads on this board this year about Coinremitter withdrawals sitting. One of them ran six days. Another had nine-minute settlements twice and then a full day out of nowhere.

"No hosted balance" and "pays out" are not the same claim. If the forwarder is what's slow, not having a balance page doesn't help you — it just means you can't see where your money is.

those threads are people using the withdrawal flow. use auto-forward and there is no withdrawal to be pending. different code path

grindstone is right about the mechanism and it's worth separating from the brand, because every one of these has both modes.

Auto-forward: the invoice confirms, the provider pushes to an address you gave them, you never have an account balance. Hosted: it lands in their ledger and you ask for it later. NowPayments and Plisio both do either. Same provider, same fee, wildly different behaviour when something goes wrong — and the default in the dashboard is usually hosted, because that's the one that's better for them.

Turn auto-forward on before you judge any of them on speed. Most of the "it sat for four days" stories I've read here are hosted-balance stories.

IME the honest end of this is BTCPayServer, where nothing sits because nothing is ever custodied — the customer pays your wallet and it's your wallet.

The trade is that the thing that goes wrong stops being a support ticket and starts being your node at 3am. I've had a sync fall behind and every invoice on the box went unconfirmed for two hours. Nobody sat on my money. It just looked exactly like someone had.

Same account, same pitch, third thread this week. Removed the rest of it.

Two weeks of auto-forward on and it is a different product. Median from confirm to my wallet is about eleven minutes, worst was 50. Nothing has sat.

Annoying that the fix was a checkbox I'd never opened.
