SpicePay. Eleven days on withdrawal of $2,180, and today the ticket ask me to describe my business activity.

I want to be clear why this make me angry and is not the usual crying about frozen money. The whole product is that you tell them what you sell at signup. I did this. I wrote it in the box, they read it, they approved it, i have the email from March. It is on the list they publish as accepted.

So now eleven days later somebody ask me the same question they already have the answer to. This is not compliance, this is somebody opening a file and not reading the file.

Anyway. Balance is small, i will survive. But if the disclosed category does not protect you then what exactly am i paying 1% for.

you're paying 1% for them to take you at all. it was never a guarantee, it was an appetite

Is the withdrawal to the same address you've always used, or a new one? Every one of these threads turns on that and the OP never says.

Same address, four months, six withdrawals before this one with no problem. So no, is not that.

The disclosure protects you against being terminated for the category. It does not protect you against a periodic review, and small operators tend to do those in batches rather than continuously — which is why it feels arbitrary and why several people get hit in the same fortnight.

Answer it in the same words you used in March, attach the approval email, and do not editorialise. The failure mode here is a merchant giving a slightly different description eleven days later than the one on file, because that mismatch is the thing that turns a batch review into an actual investigation.

Small balance, disclosed category, same address, existing approval on record. I would expect this back inside three weeks.

"Explicitly accepts categories others ban." Explicitly.

Two accounts in the same week is the only interesting thing in this thread, and it is still only two.

If anyone else is currently sitting on a pending withdrawal with that operator, post the date it went pending. If four of us have dates inside the same ten-day window it is a batch review on their side and nobody needs to worry about their own file. If they are scattered across two months it is individual and vlad_ptk's is about something specific to him.

That is a genuinely answerable question and it takes one line from each of you. I have no position with them myself — my high-risk flow has been on Cryptomus since last year — so I am asking rather than defending anything.

"Answer in the same words" is right and worth generalising: keep a copy of every description you have ever given an operator, dated, offline.

The reason is not tidiness. It is that in eighteen months someone will ask you the same question a third time and you will paraphrase from memory. The paraphrase is what creates the discrepancy, and the discrepancy is what they act on. Your own inconsistency is a bigger threat to that account than the category ever was.
