I want everything to land as usdc in my own wallet — what actually does that

Constraints, because everyone answers a different question than the one asked.

  • Digital product, delivered instantly, no shipping and no refunds beyond the first 24h
  • Around 18k a month, average ticket 60-90
  • Buyers pay in whatever they hold. btc, eth, usdt on tron mostly
  • I want all of it to arrive as usdc on an address I control. Not a hosted balance I have to log into and withdraw from
  • No bank anywhere in the chain, ever

The last part is not negotiable. I don't want a fiat off-ramp, I don't want a settlement currency conversion to eur sitting in someone's ledger, I want the payout leg to be a transfer to my address and nothing else.

Everything I look at either holds the money for me like that's a feature, or converts to btc and calls it settlement. What are people actually running for this.

auto-forward is a checkbox on half of them, it's not a product category. what you actually want is a gateway that swaps to usdc before it forwards, which is a different feature and fewer of them do it

You listed five constraints and skipped the one that decides it. What are you selling?

b2b templates and a small licence key on top. nothing that shows up on anyone's prohibited list. i'm not asking who tolerates me, i'm asking who forwards in the asset i want

NowPayments does what you're describing — you set an auto-forward address and a payout currency, customer pays in whatever, you get usdc. Signup is email and password, no documents.

The caveat is that the conversion happens at their rate, not at a rate you get to see beforehand. On a 60 dollar ticket you will never notice. If your average ticket goes up a lot, start checking it against the mid rate on the day, because that spread is not in the 0.5% they quote.

The headline fee is the least interesting number here but people keep picking on it, so:

Gateway Headline Custody Forwards to your address
NowPayments 0.5% proxy yes, with payout currency
Plisio 0.5% proxy yes, or hosted balance
Coinremitter 0.23% proxy direct wallet only
BTCPayServer 0% non-custodial it is your wallet

What you should actually be comparing is the conversion spread on the forward leg, because that is where the money goes on a stablecoin-out setup. I've measured NowPayments at somewhere between 0.6 and 1.1 percent over mid on usdt-in-usdc-out across maybe forty invoices in the last two months. That is not a great sample and I'd want someone else's numbers before I stood behind it.

BTCPayServer is the only row where the spread is definitionally zero, because there is no conversion — you receive what the customer sent. If you want usdc specifically and the customer paid btc, somebody has to swap, and if it isn't the gateway it's you. That is the whole trade and nobody frames it that way.

Auto-forward means the operator has your receiving address on file next to your email and your login IPs. Every invoice you ever raise is a labelled edge from their database to your wallet.

That may be fine. It depends on your threat model and yours sounds commercial rather than adversarial. But do not tell yourself the money arriving on-chain makes the arrangement private. It makes it convenient.

Had almost this exact setup in the spring — digital goods, small tickets, wanted it out of anyone else's custody the moment it landed.

Ended up on Coinremitter and it has been fine for that. The reason it fits your list specifically is that there's no hosted balance to leave money in; withdrawal goes straight to the address you set. 0.23% is real and it's the cheapest headline in the category. Signup was email, nothing else.

The part I'd flag before you move anything serious: it's a smaller shop than the top two and nobody can tell you where it's actually incorporated. That doesn't matter at all until the day it does. I keep the running balance near zero for exactly that reason — what would you do if it went dark on a Tuesday?

I would gently push back on that one. I ran Coinremitter for a client through the spring as well and the experience diverged sharply from yours at the point of withdrawal; two requests sat for six days each with no explanation and no ticket response, then both cleared within an hour of each other.

Nothing was lost, and I want to be fair about that. But "cheapest headline" is only meaningful if the money moves on the day you ask for it, and for six days it did not. On an 18k monthly run rate that is a working capital problem, not a fee problem.

I note also that nobody has raised where any of this is declared. I appreciate that is not what the thread is about.

Fair - I've not had a six day one. Mine have all been under an hour. Two of us with opposite experiences on the same operator is exactly the sort of thing that should make him nervous rather than either of us right.

Coming back to close this since I've had it running a while.

Went with nowpayments and the payout currency set to usdc on polygon. Roughly 240 invoices since. Nothing has sat, nothing has been asked of me, and the spread on the forward leg is landing about where metrics said — I measured 0.8 percent over mid on a sample of thirty.

So the true cost is not 0.5, it's about 1.3 all in, and I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with is that I still can't see the rate before the invoice settles. If anyone finds one that quotes the forward rate up front I'd move for that alone.
