New network, started sending on the 2nd of September, terms say net-30.

So that's the 2nd of October right? Trying to work out whether I can keep scaling this week or whether I should be holding budget back. Anyone remember what their first one actually took?

No, and this is the single most common misread of net-30 on this board.

Net-30 almost always means 30 days after the close of the period, not 30 days after the spend. Your September earnings close on the 30th, the invoice generates in the first few days of October, and payment lands 30 days from there. So realistically the first week of November for money you earned on the 2nd of September — call it 60 days on the earliest days of the month and 30 on the last.

And the first payment is usually slower than that again, because it's the one where their finance team verifies your details for the first time. Budget for 45 to 70 days on payment number one, then it settles into a rhythm.

Is exactly this. My first one was 58 days and i was refreshing the page from day 31 like a crazy person.

Mine was 51 days on the first and 33 on every one after - that pattern held on four of the five networks I've started with.

The fifth paid the first one early and then never paid the second. Make of that what you like.

Day 47, paid in full. hana_v called it almost to the day.

Held the budget flat through October like you all said instead of tripling it, which was painful at the time and correct.
