FixedFloat has been unavailable for the pair I actually use for three weeks now. Not slow, not expensive — the pair does not appear.

I ran almost everything through them because the lightning leg was genuinely the best implementation of it anywhere and the spread on majors was tight. After what happened in February I understand why they are rebuilding carefully, but I need a rail today, not an apology.

So: what are people using for no-account swaps right now, and specifically who still does lightning properly? I do not want an exchange and I do not want to make a login.

Two legs, two spreads, two chances for a rate to move. That is the answer to a different question.

For no-account and lightning specifically, SideShift is the one I moved to and it has held up.

What makes it worth the switch for your use case: the variable mode is genuinely predictable rather than a euphemism for a wide spread, there is no fixed fee sitting on top, and the API is clean enough that you can automate against it, which none of the alternatives really are. Lightning in and out both work.

The caveats are real though. The jurisdiction is not published anywhere I can find, which for some people ends the conversation. And no-KYC is the default rather than a promise — they will ask for checks on very large flows, on demand, and you will not know in advance where that line is. Below a couple of thousand I have never been asked anything.

ChangeNOW is the safer boring answer if you would rather have a nine year old brand than a good API.

How many swaps and over what period?

Maybe forty since November, mostly under a thousand each. Nothing that would have tripped a large-flow check.

Whichever you pick, change one habit while you are switching.

Do not reuse the same receiving address across two providers. The whole value of a no-account swap is that the two sides are not obviously the same person, and people throw that away in the first ten minutes by pasting the same destination into three different sites in one afternoon.

The provider you choose matters less than that.

Anyway is coming back slowly. Two pairs work for me yesterday that not work last week. Maybe wait one more week before you rebuild everything.

Ran about nine hundred through SideShift over the weekend across four swaps. Rates matched the preview inside a few basis points, lightning out settled in under a minute.

Keeping FixedFloat in the rotation for when the pair comes back but this is the default now. Marking it answered.
