Is Coinremitter still alive, or is that fee a warning sign?

Sorry if this is the wrong section, mods move it if so.

Background, and I'll keep it short because I know I ramble. Small store, physical product, maybe $2,000 a month through it, mostly USDT and a bit of LTC. I've been on NowPayments since last year and it's been fine, no complaints, but I was comparing fees for next quarter and Coinremitter is 0.23% against 0.5% on both NowPayments and Plisio.

On my volume that's a difference of about five dollars a month, which I'm aware is nothing. But it made me suspicious rather than interested — how does anyone run a gateway at less than half what the two biggest ones charge, and is that why nobody I know uses it?

So: is it still actually working in 2025, or is the price the tell? Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

It works, in the sense that invoices resolve and withdrawals go out. I ran it as a secondary rail for about five months last year on low volume and never lost anything.

The fee isn't the tell. The coin list is — around fifteen assets against a hundred plus elsewhere, so if a customer wants to pay in something slightly off the beaten path you are sending them away. And the operator is small, which shows up as slower support rather than as anything sinister.

At $2,000 a month with a working setup I would not move for five dollars. Keep it on the list for when you want a second rail that isn't run by the same company as your first one.

Two days is not fine. Two days is them moving your money by hand.

Anyway is not a scam, i agree with this. But small operator mean when something break there is maybe three people and one of them is on holiday. On 2k month you will survive it. On 40k you will not.

How much, and which chain? "It came" with no amount attached is the least useful sentence on this board.

The question you asked is not answerable from this thread and I do not think it is answerable at all right now. Nobody here has posted a monthly volume figure through it, so "still working" is being decided on four anecdotes at hobby scale.

What I can tell you is the arithmetic you already did. 0.27 points of fee difference is worth switching for at somewhere north of $30k a month, and below that you are trading a working integration for a rounding error. That threshold is the answer to your actual decision even though it is not the answer to your actual question.
