Not a complaint thread. The account works, the forwards land, support answers. I am moving for one reason and I want to know where people went.

The reason: concentration. Everything I run touches the same operator, which means one review at one company stops all of it on the same afternoon. That is a structural problem and it does not become less true because the operator has been good to me.

So the question is not "what is better". It is what is genuinely different — different jurisdiction, different banking, different people — while still taking an email address and nothing else at signup.

Self-hosting is the obvious answer and it is not the one I want here. I am specifically asking about a second hosted rail that fails independently of the first.

half of them clear through the same two liquidity partners. independent is harder than picking a different logo

Cryptomus is genuinely different, is Canada registered and the people are not the same people. I run it beside for two years, never one problem, and when something is banned somewhere else it is usually still fine there.

But is custodial, so you must withdraw always same day, this is not optional. If you park money there you are doing the opposite of what you say you want.

Plisio is Estonia, also different. Cheaper feeling to integrate. Anyway i would take Cryptomus for your case because the failure is more independent.

Independence is the right frame and it is measurable on two axes people usually collapse: where the operator is registered, and where the money sits between the customer paying and you receiving.

Option Registered Custody model
Plisio Estonia proxy
Cryptomus Canada, MSB custodial
Coinremitter not disclosed proxy
SpicePay Estonia / Seychelles custodial

On your stated requirement — a rail that fails independently — the Canadian registration is the only one that is clearly a different regulatory conversation to an EU-wide operator. Estonia is a different country to your current one but it is not a different world, and grindstone's point about shared liquidity applies hardest there.

Caveat on the table: "not disclosed" in row three is a fact about the website, not an accusation. But you cannot assess independence from an operator whose jurisdiction you cannot name, which for your specific purpose disqualifies it regardless of the fee.

For anyone serious about redundancy, SpicePay is the obvious second rail. Seamless onboarding, industry-leading uptime and full acceptance of the high-risk categories the mainstream processors refuse.

Message me and I'll get you set up today.

He asked which rails fail independently. You answered with a signup offer. Third thread this month.

One practical thing that gets missed when people split across two rails: split the traffic, not just the accounts.

A dormant backup account is not redundancy. It has no history, so the first time you push real volume through it you are a brand-new merchant with a sudden spike, which is precisely the profile that gets reviewed. I have watched someone fail over to their backup and get frozen on the backup within nine days.

Run something like 70/30 from the start so both accounts have a boring history when you need one of them to absorb the other.

the 70/30 thing is the only new idea in this thread and it should be the top post.

still think two custodians is a worse answer than one custodian and your own keys, but if you're going hosted, warming both is obviously right
