Network wants a US bank for the payout and I don't have one

Got approved on a network last week, first payout is coming and now i have doubt about how i actually receive it.

Their payment page has three options. ACH, check, and PayPal. Check is a joke, PayPal they say is US and CA only for affiliates. So is ACH or nothing and i am in Brazil, i do not have US bank and i am not opening company in Delaware for one payout of 900 dollars.

AM says "we can look at wire" and then nothing for four days. Actually the same happened to a friend of mine here and he waited two months.

What do people outside US do here? Everybody on this board talk like having US account is normal.

Payoneer is the boring correct answer and most mid-tier networks already have it as a payout method even when it isn't on the signup form — ask the AM specifically, don't ask "can you do international".

The thing to check before you commit: you get US receiving details, the network sends ACH to those, then you withdraw to your local bank. Two fee layers, not one. Roughly 1-2% on the withdrawal plus whatever the rate spread costs you, and the spread is the part people forget to count.

Second option nobody mentions: ask if they pay in USDT. In 2023 a surprising number of the smaller networks quietly will, they just don't advertise it because their accountant hates it.

Careful with that one, it works right up until it doesn't and it fails at the worst moment.

The US details you get from Wise are a virtual account in a partner bank, and the name on it is yours, but a lot of network accounting is run through Tipalti or similar and those platforms screen for exactly that. 1) some of them reject the routing number outright at setup, which is annoying but at least you find out immediately. 2) the bad version is the payment goes out, bounces a week later, and now you're at the back of the queue for next cycle. I've had 2) happen twice, both times with US networks paying into a European affiliate.

Payoneer gets through because the networks have an existing relationship with them, not because it's technically different. That's the whole reason it works and it's worth understanding, because it tells you what to ask: not "will this account work", but "who else do you pay this way".

If the network is small and pays out of its own bank rather than a payables platform, Wise is usually fine. If there's a portal with an onboarding form and a W-8BEN, assume it will be screened.

They have the W-8 form, so is the second one you describe. Good to know before and not after, obrigado (thank you).

I ask about USDT also, my friend. Worst case they say no.

Which network? The answer is completely different for one that runs its own accounting versus one on a payables platform, and you've had six replies without anyone knowing which you're on.

Report back for who find this later.

Payoneer worked. Took nine days to verify the account, then the ACH landed two days after their payment date. From 912 dollars i received 883 in my bank here after their withdrawal fee and the rate, so around 3 percent all in.

USDT they said no, but the finance guy said "not yet" which is different from no. Anyway Payoneer is fine for now.
