Sorry if this has been covered - I searched and found two threads that both trail off without an answer, which is partly why I'm asking again.

I'm trying to work out whether numero virtual is an actual scam or just a small operation that's badly run, because those need completely different responses from me and I can't tell them apart from outside.

What I've got: signed up fine, the panel loads, prices are listed. Tried to add funds four times with three different methods and every one failed at a different stage. No error message that means anything. Emailed support on the 3rd, nothing back.

So I haven't lost any money. I just can't give them any either. Is that the known experience or have I got something wrong at my end?

My friend, this is exactly the experience and you did nothing wrong.

They are real, they are small, and the payment part is broken for anybody outside a very short list of countries. Actually i think the whole thing is built for one market and the rest of us are looking at a page that was never meant for us.

The funny part is when the payment work, the service work fine. I use them for maybe six months in 2024 with no problem, then one day the top up stop working for my card and never come back and no answer to any email. So not a scam. Just nobody is there (não tem ninguém - there is nobody home).

Agreed, and I'd add the practical rule that comes out of it: a provider you cannot reliably fund is a provider you cannot use, regardless of whether they're honest.

This matters more than people think because the failure arrives at the worst moment. You don't discover the top-up is broken when you're browsing. You discover it when you're mid-run, out of balance, and everything is halted.

So I'd treat a broken funding path as disqualifying, full stop, and not spend another week diagnosing whose fault it is.

you can't give them money and you're asking if they're stealing from you

The safest service on the board. It has never taken a penny from anyone.

Four failed payment attempts from three methods is four records of you trying, sitting in a panel run by people who don't answer email and probably don't patch anything either.

Not a reason to panic. A reason to have used a method you don't mind being associated with the attempt.
