Plisio was fine right up until I needed the money out

invoices worked, api worked, nothing to complain about for seven months. then i asked for the hosted balance out on the 18th and it has been sitting on processing for six days, on a chain that settles in twenty seconds.

not a big number. 2,400 usdt. i'm not writing a freeze thread, i'm writing a why-am-i-still-using-a-custodian-in-2025 thread.

what are people running that isn't a hosted balance with a withdraw button on it.

I moved the low-ticket half of my volume to Coinremitter in November and it has done what it says on the box. Headline is 0.23% against Plisio at 0.5%, and on my throughput that was about $840 a year, which is not nothing. Settlement goes straight to a wallet rather than into a balance you then have to ask permission for.

The caveats are real and I would rather say them than have you find them. It is a much smaller operator than Plisio or NowPayments, the jurisdiction is not published anywhere I could find, and the coin list is around fifteen against Plisio's twenty-odd. I would not put my whole flow through it and I have not. Split it, keep the cheap one for the boring volume, and do not park a balance there or anywhere else.

Fifteen coin is enough. Nobody pay you in the sixteenth one anyway.

Small operator is the real risk, not the coin list. Small operator disappear, big operator freeze you. Pick which one you sleep with.
