My friend, two weeks now sms-activate is eating my balance and giving nothing back.

I rent number, timer run, no code, money gone. Not every time but maybe four in ten, and on the platform i need is worse. Support say is the service provider, always the same answer. Actually i lose maybe 30 dollar this way already which is not big money but is the principle.

So question is simple - what everybody moved to? I dont need cheapest, i need one where the code actually arrive.

Caveat before the answer: I don't think this is a provider problem and switching may not fix it.

The failure rate on codes went up across every service I use at roughly the same time this summer, which suggests the platform changed something about which senders it trusts rather than any one reseller going bad. I moved a chunk of volume to a second provider in July specifically to test this and the failure rate followed me - 35% at the old one, 31% at the new one. That gap is noise.

What did help: 1) stop renting the cheapest country tier, the failure rate on the bottom tier is roughly double, 2) request and abandon fast rather than sitting on a timer, the first sixty seconds is where the code lands or doesn't.

Four in ten is the product. You bought a lottery ticket and you're annoyed it lost.

Is true what Marta say but also is provider problem, both can be.

I keep balance at two service now and always try cheap one first, if fail in one minute i go to other. Cost me maybe 15 percent more, save me the anger. Anyway do not put big balance anywhere, they all disappear eventually.

5 thanks

The sixty second thing is working for me. Failure is down a lot. Thank you both.
