Correcting my own entry, because a list where nobody ever downgrades anything is worthless.

D slipped this month. Cycle three was six days late, and the reason given was a "banking partner migration" which is the phrase I have now heard from four separate networks in three years and which has never once meant anything good.

So D is 2 of 3, not 3 of 3. Money did arrive. I'm not pulling traffic yet but I've stopped scaling into them until I see cycle four.

11 thanks

Logged, D drops to 2/3 and I've put an amber marker on it in my copy. That's the first downgrade in the thread and it took five weeks, which tells you something about how fast this kind of list decays versus how fast people update it.

"Banking partner migration" going in the notes column as a flag rather than an excuse. Anyone else had that exact phrase in 2026?

We ran one of these on a different board in 2014 and I still have the spreadsheet somewhere, which is the only reason I know how this ends.

It ends in about August. Not because anyone gets bored — because the thing you're measuring stops being a property of the network. A network is on time when it has more cash coming in than going out, and that is a state, not a character trait. The one that paid me like clockwork for two years went from perfect to gone in eleven weeks and nothing in the payment history predicted it, because the payment history was measuring the wrong thing. What predicted it was that they started pushing an offer I'd never heard of at a payout that made no sense, three months before the wheels came off. That's the leading indicator. On-time payment is the lagging one.

Keep the list. Just don't mistake it for a forecast. The half of it that's still accurate in December will be accurate by accident.

A - Net 30, nutra, EU, four cycles, four on time, biggest €5,100. Same network I've been on since 2022 and I fully expect to be posting in here in eighteen months about how it collapsed.

This is depressing and actually true, my friend.

Miss to report, since you asked for those specifically.

G - the one I said was fixed by moving my close date - went to Net 60 on the March run with no announcement. Found out because the payment didn't arrive, asked, and got sent a link to the updated terms page which had been quietly edited. Dated version in the wayback copy says Net 30 as of January so I'm not imagining it.

They did pay. Sixty days later, in full, no argument. So do I mark that on time against the new terms or late against the terms I actually agreed to? I've put it down as late because otherwise the column means nothing.

Dropping them to about a fifth of what I was sending until I see whether this is cashflow or policy.

Late. Terms changing mid-year without notice is itself the signal — logged G as 2/3 with a terms-change flag.

The terms-change one is worth its own column honestly. I've had two networks in five years change terms without telling me and both of them were within a year of going under.

Not a prediction, just the only pattern in my own data that ever held up. H still on time, three cycles, nothing to report.

Two out of two is a coin landing twice.

D back on time for cycles four and five. Still not scaling into it. 4 of 5.

Same for F, two cycle on time. Nothing else to say my friend.

Halfway. Everything reported here plus four entries that came in by PM, which I've included as the numbers were specific enough to be worth having.

Code Terms Cycles On time Notes
A Net 30 5 5
B Net 15 4 3 one 2-day
C weekly 9 6 consistently loose
D Net 15 5 4 "banking partner migration" Feb
E Net 7 6 6 still unnamed, still small
F Net 30 5 3 rail-dependent, LATAM
G Net 30 → 60 3 2 terms changed mid-year, no notice
H Net 30 3 3
J Net 30 4 4 PM'd, ecom, US
K Net 45 3 1 PM'd, two >2 weeks late

41 of 52 cycles landed on the date, so about 79%. My honest read is that number is inflated by maybe fifteen points, because people report the network they're happy with and stay quiet about the one currently ignoring their emails.

The only entry I'd act on is K, and only because two people independently PM'd me the same code with the same complaint before I'd published it.

79% on time and everyone in this thread still thinks their own network is the reliable one. that's the finding

Called August and I'll be generous and say the rot starts in July. Two entries haven't updated since February and one of them is a network I'd bet money is quietly on Net 45 now.

Still the best thing on the board this year, for what that's worth.
