Ok so this is not the post I wanted to be writing this week!!

I have been on the Vyrion card since June. Four top ups, all of them landed, the 1% is exactly 1% like they say, and I have been telling everyone here it is the cheapest thing going.

Saturday it stopped. Every single charge declines. The dashboard says ACTIVE in green letters. There is $912 sitting on it.

There is no email address. There is no ticket. There is a seed phrase and a green word. Has anyone had this and got the card back?

3 thanks

seed phrase signup means there is no account for anyone to freeze. what you have is a card object and someone flipped a bit on it

what was the last thing that went through

Date and amount of the last successful charge. And the merchant category.

Friday morning, $46 to a hosting provider I pay every month since June!

Worth separating the two things you are actually worried about, because only one of them is likely.

The first is whether the money is gone. It is almost certainly not. On a card like this the balance is a ledger entry against a deposit that already settled on chain, and the issuer does not have a reason to zero it — when these go quiet the pattern is that the card object stops authorising while the ledger sits untouched. Check the deposit on the explorer and you will know within five minutes whether the credit is real.

The second is whether you can get it spending again, and that is the part with no lever on it. There is no email because there is no account, which is the trade you made at signup and it costs nothing at all until the day it costs everything. At $912 you are nowhere near the ten thousand per transaction ceiling or the hundred thousand monthly one, so limits are not the trigger.

What I would do: one very small charge at a merchant you have never used, then leave it alone for ten days. Retrying every hour tells you nothing and it is the only thing you can do wrong from here.

Green means the CSS loaded.

Before anyone theorises further — pull the last top up on chain. Deposit address, txid, confirmations.

A balance in their dashboard is a number in a database that they control. A confirmed transfer is a fact that they do not. If the transfer confirmed and the number matches, the argument is about the card, not about your money, and that is a much better argument to be having.

Is not freeze i think. Is BIN.

Anyway try one dollar charge somewhere in different country. If pass, card is fine and problem is your hosting provider acquirer refusing the range.

Everything declining is not a BIN problem. He said everything.

He said every charge he tried. Is two merchants maybe three. Not everything.

Four merchants. Hosting, two ad platforms and a $1 test at a coffee place near me.

You did not have an account frozen. You had a key stop opening a door, which is a different failure and it fails differently.

The useful question is not why. Nobody is going to tell you why, and the people speculating in this thread including me do not know. The useful question is what you were holding on it and why you were holding that much.

Nine hundred dollars is about six weeks of your stated spend sitting behind a service with no support channel, no legal counterparty you could name, and no recovery path that does not depend on them choosing to turn it back on. That is not a card problem. That is a decision you made about where to keep money, and it is the only part of this you control.

Run two cards from two issuers. Keep a week of spend on each. The extra top up commission is the premium on a policy that pays out exactly once.

One addition, and I know how it will land here.

Write down today, in one place, what you sent, what landed, what you spent and what is stranded, with dates against each. Their transaction history is not a record you own and I would not assume it will be there in three months.

If the card comes back you have a reconciliation that takes ten minutes; if it does not, you have a loss you can actually describe rather than a feeling that some money went somewhere.

He wants his money, not a spreadsheet about it.
