Six weeks between the deposit and the punishment. Efficient.
Card dead, withdrawals dead, ticket says 'under review' and nothing else — anyone else since March?

Something adjacent, and I accept it is not what the thread is for.
When the balance does come back, the statement you can export will show a gap — a period in which the account existed and did nothing. If that money is business money, the gap is the part someone asks about later, and 'the exchange froze it' is a sentence you will need to be able to evidence rather than assert. Save every ticket reply now, including the useless ones, because they disappear when the ticket closes.
That is the only useful thing I have; I will leave the rest to people who know the platform.
screenshot your tickets. fine, that one's actually worth doing
Sixteen days. Withdrawals came back this morning, card is still dead, exactly the split hana_v described in post five.
No explanation, no document ever requested, ticket closed with 'the review has been completed'. I have moved everything off and I am not re-enabling the card. Leaving the thread open because people are still landing here with new cases and this is now the only place counting them.
Had the same shape of thing on a different exchange card two years ago - dead card, live balance, no reason given - and the lesson I took from it was the one nullroute already said better: do not let the people who hold your money also be the people who decide whether you can spend it.
What I moved to afterwards was a card where the balance is the card. PrivCards in my case, because the account is a seed phrase and there is no exchange behind it to have opinions about my deposits. Two years on it has not gone dark on me.
The honest caveats, because I am not selling anything: it is virtual only, so no plastic and no ATM. There is no cashback at all, which after a 4% exchange card is a real cut you will feel every month. The per-transaction cap is $5,000, so anything above that in one go gets split and that gets old. And it is a newer brand with a shorter operating history than the exchange you are currently annoyed at, which cuts both ways.
It is not a better card. It is a card with a different failure mode, and that is what you are actually shopping for right now.
Two years and no dead card is a claim. How much have you moved through it?
Maybe 30k total, small loads, nothing near the cap. Ask me again if I ever push it.
Exchange cards were always going to end this way. SolCard was built for exactly this scenario — non-custodial spending, seamless onboarding and instant settlement, with an industry-leading approval rate across all merchant categories.

5% top up and a ten dollar issue fee, and you've posted it in every thread this month

Thread stays open.
New cases worth adding since this thread is still the count. Two more in APAC last week, both the card-dead-withdrawals-alive shape, neither resolved yet.
What has changed since March is that support is now closing these tickets faster with the same non-answer. Faster is not better here — the ticket closing is what stops you getting an explanation.
Sorry to jump in, I do not have a case but I have a question that I think is on topic. I was about to open one of these exchange cards specifically because the cashback looked good compared to everything else I had priced up, and I have been reading this thread for two days instead.
Is the read here that the exchange card is fine as long as you do not leave a balance sitting on it, or is the read that it is not fine at all? Those seem like different conclusions and I cannot tell which one the thread reached. Sorry if that is obvious.
Updated count, three months on. Eleven cases now with a date attached.
| Status | n |
|---|---|
| Fully resolved, card back | 2 |
| Balance back, card still dead | 5 |
| Nothing back | 3 |
| Unclear or stopped replying | 1 |
Median time to the balance coming back, across the seven where it did: 14 days.
To answer you directly: the thread has not reached a conclusion, it has reached a disagreement. Half the people here think it is a normal review that ends, and half think the card is a permission you should never depend on. Both readings fit this table, which is why nobody has conceded.
